Its cheaper for you to book your own car ..includng insurance than it is to pay the insurance on the "free" Thomson car ..in the past we have always used Economycarrentals.com and been very pleased with them ..but have just recently found Discountfloridacarhire.co.uk (based in the UK) and are delighted with the price and the helpfulness of Andy (based in the USA) and would highly recommend them x

Try the British Insurance Brokers Association 03709501790 - they'll be able to tell you which companies are more likely to insure you, saving you the time and hassle of contacting lots of companies separately.

My daughter has Epilepsy and it took a while to find insurance that would cover. I have insurance with Allclear. it may mean paying quite a bit, I also found that we had to be 3 months clear of a hospital admission before they would insure us. Epilepsy Charities will be able to offer advice, thats where I read about the insurance companies.. Virgin Atlantic have only just given my daughter clearence to fly, we fly may too! good Luck xx
