Rachel T. replied:
All restaurants QS and TS in Disney cater for the top 8 allergens and nearly all have allergy menus. When you make an ADR just annotate the booking and tell your server when you he there http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com The other parks also cater. There's loads of info online same for offsite restaurants. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy and they go out of their way for you at Disney x

The Disney parks are amazing and each restaurant has an allergy chef that can help and presents the food on a different coloured tray to avoid cross contamination. There is a good app called 'Find Me GF' that is great and I would recommend UNOs for great tasting GF food. The New York bakery in Disney Springs only does GF cakes and they nearly made me cry as they were amazing. Have fun and relax

How about something like the Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/contemporary-resort/pirates-and-pals-fireworks-voyage/. You could also look at character meals like Tusker House or Chef Mickeys:)
Kelly S. replied:
Yeh you can :D There's also the Pirates League https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/pirates-league/. As a bit of a planning tip, the fireworks are usually between 9:00 pm- 10:00 pm depending on the time of year so I'd plan times carefully to make sure he's not too sleep to enjoy it :D x

Forgot to give the website for Seasons 52 www.seasons52.com - it really is good, high quality, not the normal type of diner - a proper restaurant, and used by the locals. Checkout the deserts in the photo - they're taster size to try and are wonderful!

Does anyone know if Disney sells dairy free ice creams in places like magic kingdom ice cream plaza and beaches and cream restaurant? Thanks
Karen H. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/gfdfwdw/ You might find this helpful :)
Karen H. replied:
Also, if you like cakes there's Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC in Disney Springs. Everything is vegan so will be dairy free:)
Rachel T. replied:
Also if you've got a car go to Whole Foods Market, their selection of non dairy alternatives is fab. Target, Walmart sell some but Whole Foods is by far the best x
Rachel T. replied:
Almond Breeze is available, along with Silk and a couple of other brands . They do soy/coconut yoghurts and ice creams. Nutramigen Lipil 1 and 2 is available to buy off the shelf and in ready to feed form. At Disney most restaurants, TS and QS have allergy menus and the staff go out of their way to help you. Blaze Pizza which is opening in Disney Springs has vegan cheese so my daughter will be having her 1st proper pizza aged 4 when we're there in Oct/Nov
Magic Kingdom Restaurant Recommendations Hey guys, I was just wondering what restaurants you recommend in the Magic Kingdom. Italian or American food, a a nice sit down...
Boilermaker7 replied:
The only Italian inside MK is Tony’s Town Square. A lot of people really don’t like it. I kinda like it, but it’s probably on par with like an Olive Garden or something like that. As far as American, you have a few options. For comfort food like fried chicken and Mac and cheese, the plaza is probably going to be your best bet. Food is pretty good, and it’s in a pretty cool location on Main Street. If you’re cool with kinda American with French thrown in, Be our guest probably has the coolest atmosphere out of any restaurant there, and the food is pretty good. It’s really tough to get reservations there though. There’s also liberty tree tavern. Everything is served family style, and from what I hear ( haven’t actually tried it yet ) the food is outstanding.
If you’re not dead set on sticking in the park, one of my favorites at Disney is a short monorail trip away at the contemporary. California grill is on the top floor, and if you can time it right and get a reservation during the fireworks at Mk, it’s a really cool experience.
nycxandrew replied:
My last trip I really liked Liberty Tree Tavern. Good luck with whatever you decide.
disnerd93 replied:
I agree that Liberty Tree is great!!
lisaaxmariee replied:
I think Magic Kingdom has some of the worst dining. If you're 100% set on a sit down there, and only for American/Italian you can either do Tony's Town Square (Italian food, worse then Olive Garden) or the Plaza (basic fare) or liberty tree tavern. (Which I believe is the best option for the cuisine you're seeking)
centurythree replied:
Be Our Guest is a good choice, though it's hard to get a dinner ADR. It's a solid sit-down place for lunch with a nice selection of dishes that most would enjoy. I'd take a look at the menu for Skipper Canteen to see how it works for you. It's a little more adventurous than most theme park fare, but the atmosphere inside is really cool.
sullyd13 replied:
Crystal Palace for breakfast is one of my faves! That’s all I can really recommend as (personally) it’s slim pickings at MK for delicious, sit down restaurants. We usually go to one of the nearby resorts to eat. But maybe you’d like Liberty Tree Tavern?
BourbonBaristaBelle replied:
Our favorite sit downs in MK are Be Our Guest and The Plaza. BOG can be pretty tricky to get a reservation for but we've had breakfast and dinner here and have heard lunch is good too. For The Plaza, we have lunch here every trip and we love it. It's a great location on Main Street and the inside is super cute! Plus when you look out the windows you see the castle :)

Are you opposed to characters while you dine?
Stuck_in_a_depo replied:
I **LOVE** the freedom pasta at Liberty Tree Tavern. It's also a table service meal, and there are other options. Not to mention the sticky toffee pudding cake. If you are looking for quick service - Cosmic Rays has burgers (standard food service fare) with plenty of indoor seating. Casey's Corner serves hotdogs (although I was a little disappointed this past trip) and most seating is outside).
lmirvine replied:
Definitely agree with Liberty Tree. It's a must do for us on every trip!
thetacohoe replied:
We really liked Liberty Tree Tavern. We did Be Our Guest for breakfast and were highly disappointed. Dinner was delicious there though.

Thanks for any advice.A buffet one would be good if there are any.
Bob G. replied:
PF Changs at the Mall At Millenia is by far the best.
Holly W. replied:
PF Changs is probably going to be super busy. Pei Wei is in Celebration (not in the town center, it's by the second 192 entrance) and there is one at The Loop (Osceola Parkway)
Holly W. replied:
If you want a REALLY fun experience try Mizu and go for the Hibachi. Tons of food and lots of Laughs. They are in the Best Buy Plaza by the Loop (Osceola Parkway and John Young Parkway) Not a "tourist" place http://www.mizukissimmee.com/

Special occasion meal, then take a look at Del Friscos. Capital Grille. Copper Canyon. Oceanaire Seafood Rooms. And a few others around The Pointe on International Drive. If you are not in that area, let us know where for some alternatives.

Can anyone tell me if the Disney world restaurants for sit in meals (e.g. be our guest) provide vegetarian options?
Gemma A. replied:
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/
Katrina B. replied:
My husband is vegetarian so I did a lot of research of menus before we went. At Table service there was always an option but not all of the quick service locations have a vegetarian option. Research your menus because a lot of the vege options are a vege burger or a pizza which you wouldn't want every day. The choices are out there - you just need to research and prepare.

Hi, we have purchased the disney dining plan (one quick service meal, one snack and one table service meal). How does this work? How many credits are for each meal etc...
Cassie F. replied:
Here's a list of everywhere that you can use your credits. Most sit down resturants are 1 credit. You can order any main and desert from the menu and a soft drink as well. http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-dining-plan-restaurants.htm#ddp2016
