Years ago I brought a Rottweiler into Dr. Harper. He was bald above his tail and knawed at it constantly. Harper suggested I have him put down because he had the red mange. Left from there and brought him to Dr. Arnold. I said please don't tell me I need to put him down. He did a scrape. Sold me a small bottle of liquid to put in two bath waters and said that it would kill the mites he had. Did so. Mites died. Rot lived happily ever after. Choose wisely.

We love Ballard Animal Hospital. They've been taking care of our pets for 17 years through all stages of life and various emergencies. Never been unhappy with the care we've gotten there.
Mary W. replied:
We've been very happy with the care our cats have received at Queen Anne Animal Clinic. We found them shorty before the end of our elderly cat's life and they were great with him through the end. Also been great with the new kitties from kitten hood through adulthood.

We have two dogs, when we needed to get a vet, we tried several local hospital. Then my husband was checking out a magazine (sim. to consumer report) for local counties, he found Greenwood Hospital on Aurora. They checked all of our boxes.... Care, reviews from others, reasonable prices etc.... We brought our one dog who was suffering from stones in her bladder. We are now going there for all of our girls care. P.S. My husband is one of those guys you hear about, he doesn't buy TP w/o checking with Consumers Report!

Contact Lake Area Animal Hospital. Dr. Joe Stark owns it and he seems to always be hiring. He likes to give new vets experience at his place before going off on their own. OR, you can try University Animal Clinic on McNeese Street. Dr. Lotfin owns it and he is a very nice man and a Christian.
