Anyone contracting to do house painting should hold a valid C33 contractors license. With General Liabitly and Workers Comp Insurance. Handymen are legally only allowed to charge $500.00 labor and materials for any single job. Don't contribute to the underground economy of illegal contracting. Hire a Licensed Contractor. www.cslb.cs.gov.... only one guy above has a license but no W/C Insurance meaning he has to perform all the work himself. No W/C Insurance means it illegal to have employees work on your job.
