Anyone know of a good Naturopath around Beaverton Hillsboro?

I have found that Dr. Misty White is worth the drive down 217 to the I-5 217 interchange. She is just off of Kruse way. I have been sick, ultimately disabled for 6 years and since seeing her, I am sleeping, and my pain is under control. I live in the .beaverton/Hillsboro area as well, but I will ALWAYS drive to wherever she is. The name of her practice is Oswego Progressive Medicine. Phone number is 503-746-5889.

Paulette, I was at the end of the road healthwise when I started to see Dr. Schwartz in about 2004. Gluten-free at that time was just beginning to be on the mainstream radar—there wasn't a lot of talk about it. I had been to many, many doctors trying to figure out why I was so tired no matter how much sleep I got, why I always felt so horrible and depressed, and the whys behind the many other physical symptoms I had. I had started doing my own research—not easy when you have no idea what's going on and you're barely getting through your day as it is! But I ran into Dr. Wilson's book on adrenal fatigue, thought maybe that was my problem, and decided a regular MD would never be able to help me. I searched for a naturopath with specialties in what I thought were my problem areas. After I discovered the ND I had decided to see had moved out of the area, I made an appointment to see Dr. Schwartz, her replacement. I was so glad I did. She listens closely and had so much insight into what might be going on with me, right from the start. She didn't overload me with ideas when the first steps on the road were such big ones (give up wheat, give up dairy, let's adjust your thyroid meds). We took it a bit at a time, and I'm grateful to her for giving me time to absorb and adjust to that whole new way of living and thinking. Another reason I like her so much is that she truly is a partner in your health. She is always learning new things herself and brings them to you as additional strategies. She explains how therapies work very well. And she has a great sense of humor. Does that help? She's not the only great ND in the area, but she's the one I know.
I'm looking for a great naturopath in Denver. Any recommendations or tips for finding one?
