Tim, please re read my posts carefully. I asked Aryn a question. Without an answer to the question, I left it alone, agreeing that the "Homeless" populations in California and Trenton, N.J. may in fact be VERY different cats. You might also note that I WISHED HIM WELL in his endeavor, and that I was NOT ALONE in withholding enthusiastic support. Perhaps my being reared here in southern CA and the socioeconomic conditions that I saw growing up. And, that our communities are currently experiencing today and yours, in the Lake Champlain Area where apparently you were reared, has given us both unique perspectives in lifestyles of the not so rich and famous. Seperate from that, You asked, that in regard to someone who chooses to live an alternative lifestyle, how hard must that be? Well in my opinion, LESS HARD than the man or woman who gets up every day and goes to work, to provide for and shelter thier family. After however many years of self sacrifice to get the education or training to do and maintain thier jobs. And at the end of the day, has a GROWING percentage of thier wages sent to provide shelter and medical care for those who CAN'T or have CHOSEN not to do the same. I WILL agree with you that peoples lives and lifestyle are, in large part, a reflection of the collective results of thier God given right to choose for themselves. I don't know anywhere in my comments that I indicated that they didnt need love. Loving EVERYONE is kind of intangable to me. Though I do make natural efforts to treat others as I would like to be treated myself. I do not feel that giving to ALL is a good practice. Sounds good, but I would rather place twice as much "giving" in the hands of someone who really needs it, than an equal share in the hands of someone who only wants it. And if you want to discuss giving onesself for service, you should talk to my wife. She might offer you some opinion you might not have expected. PLEASE!!!!!! as I said, Dr. Aryn and I agreed that people may be VERY different in Trenton NJ and the Beach areas of Southern California. I wished him well in his endeavor. If you want to discuss this topic/line of thought any further, Please, open and post to a new thread.
