I really need to find another pediatrician. Mine is never in the office. So after finding out she wasn't there today I thought ok no big deal I call bubs immunologist,...
Barbara S. replied:
I know friends who have recommended Dr. Bryan Benefiel. He's a family doc right in the same building as my internist. You might check out his office.
Kathleen P. replied:
Elizabeth Wooster, a QHHS grad, is a Family doctor in Nebraska. That doesn’t help you at all, but you should know that people still do that specialty.
JoLyn S. replied:
Sharron Ashton is great too. She is our GP
Barbara S. replied:
Kathleen Parks, I worked with Family Practice Residencies and docs for well over 10 years and I wholeheartedly recommend them. It is certainly not a dying breed of physician. In fact, it's a much sought after physician. I wish they could get support to begin a Family Practice Residency program here in the AV. It would certainly feed new docs into the area but requires backing from the specialists in the area to be teachers.
JoLyn S. replied:
Melissa Thomas . I just called Edralin's office. Taking new patients and they do not have to be a newborn baby! 266.8400. Tell them I sent you. KayLyn and Krista Handley smile emoticon
Kathleen P. replied:
That is very good news, Melissa. Dr. Edralin lived by us in Godde Hill Estates and always seemed like a really nice man.
Christy D. replied:
Melissa Thomas, I love Dr Robinson's office. They are the best, the whole staff is amazing, they really care for their patients and families. We used to go to Edralin and they are great too but they don't take a lot of insurances and sometimes its dif ficult to get in. Dr Robinson's office always makes room for last minute illness. Have been there 10 years now. Working as a nurse myself I am really picky. Wouldn't go to anyone else. 945-2221 tell them I referred you if you decide to call.
Melissa T. replied:
I saw Dr. Agarwal before, she was very nice, but I've heard and saw that she sees a child and says, let's wait a few days and see how they do. Well, I would not be happy with that, I don't take my kids until I know they are bad and waiting a few days won't be an option.
I am asking for a friend who just moved back here. She is looking for a primary physician and a pediatrician. I have Kaiser so im outta the loop. Thanks guys!!!!
Jenny C. replied:
We go to VIP Family Care. The husband is the family Dr and the wife is the pediatrician. It's on the corner of J and 15 th W. 661-726-5000 if she's interested:):)
Looking for suggestions....

All of my kids love him and are very comfortable with him.
Ashiely S. replied:
It's a little drive but we've seen a lot of pediatricians and I mean a lot and for 2 1/2 years now we've seen Dr. Alex Van Speybroeck down at children's hospital in pediatrics for you it will be maybe an 1 hour drive but it seems like nothing. He's AMAZING!!!! I love him he always takes the time to get to know my kids talk to them, answer all my questions and explains things very well, if your not comfortable with anything (like vaccinations or medications) he respects your wishes and doesn't push like most doctors but he does explain to you he risks if any and talks to you about your decision to make sure your informed and making the best possible decision. My kids favorite part is he gives them a new book every time they go even the baby In my opinion he's the best love him! He does accept your insurance
Can my local friends recommend a pediatrician? Ours is in Lancaster, and the Dr I like to see is always booked so far out.

Dr Cook was Stuart and Taylor's Doctor. He was awesome. Loves kids and great bedside manner.
Hannah M. replied:
It's not Lancaster, but Dr Cook at Rock Hill pediatrics in fort mill is well worth the drive.
Tori B. replied:
I love Dr. Carter at Indian land pediatrics!
Lindsey L. replied:
Thank you ladies!!!! I have an appointment scheduled for him at Dr. Cooks office! So glad they were excepting new patients. I have got to get another diagnosis, because Dr. Hess doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing, I've been back and fourth there in a period of 3 + months and no relief, he hasn't even thought to get his lungs/chest checked...

Does anyone know of an amazing pediatrician located here in Lancaster?
Nancy N. replied:
Yes. Dr. Robinson at AV Pediatrics and Family Medicine. Although he is not my son's pediatrician because I live in Valencia, he was very highly recommended by my husband who happens to work with him:) I would go with him, but he's just too far.
Nancy N. replied:
You can say you were referred by Dr. Panoussi's wife and I'm sure you'll get treated very well!
