Does anyone have a good mechanic?? Because I'm about to BLOW a flippin' GASKET!!!!
Kate D. replied:
Double D in Leola. We moved to Ephrata but keep going back to him because he's great. Doesn't tell you things need to be fixed if we don't need it.

Sachi Smith is the only one who got my pun. What I meant was that I'm about to lose my s***!
William H. replied:
Brady's High Performance. He's a GM certified Master Mechanic. His dad knows my dad so drop our name. He's in willow street. He's gone well out of his way to testify in court for me because I was about to flip a lid.

Manheim Tire on Manheim Pike! They do a bit of everything!

We go to Rick's Service Center on Ranck Ave

We (the Grohotolski's and Schuylers) LOVE Tommy on the corner of Fountain and New Holland Avenue. Fair prices and great service. Sometimes it does take a few days if he is swamped.
Christyn R. replied:
We use M&T Universal Tech at the corner of presidents ave and harrisburg pike. Greg knows the owners and they always take great care of us.

M&R Auto on Ross St... Its such a relief to find and know an honest, trustworthy, capable mechanic. Besides that, Ryan Martin is a heck of a nice guy too.

Not in the city, but Conestoga Garage in East Lampeter is where I've been going since I was 16. They are very honest - my first car made a weird noise, and when I took in it, they said the belt that was making the noise didn't affect the operation of the car, and that if it really bothered me they'd order a new belt and let my dad install it so they didn't have to charge me.
Khalil R. replied:
Goto Primos. Its in the city. Its fast. Its cheap
Claire R. replied:
Accurate Total car care over by EPY. They're super fast and very fair! I would say Charlie (Jaclyn Downs partner) but he's usually super busy!

Looking for an honest mechanic in Lancaster to do some work on my car, any suggestions?
Kate D. replied:
CV Garage.
Kate D. replied:
Try Cabbage Hill in Millersville. I've heard good things. Never been there though. New Holland Auto always gets good reviews.
Kate D. replied:
I'd try New Holland Auto though. Everyone says they are really reasonable. And sounds like the work is pretty major. Dealerships may have better resources for that and more people to do the work. Less labor cost that way.
Kate D. replied:
My friend Gen will only take her car to NH Auto. Only place she has ever gone.
Could anyone recommend a reliable mechanic to look over a used car that I might purchase? Would love a second opinion, and someone possibly who specializes in Hondas....
Who knows a good mechanic??? In need of a water pump to be installed...
Charles D. replied:
Well how the fuck do they know? Lol. And I'll figure it out because all cars are basically the same. They're just different layouts. On my car, I have to take the timing belt off to do mine... Some care can be done from the front of the motor with little effort. I don't know how to work on EVERY SINGLE car in the world. But once I see what has to be done, I'll figure it out lol.
