I am looking for a carpenter/handy person in the city. Recommendations?
Cheryl D. replied:
Barry Draper. When I get home I will send his contact info. He's on Angie's list too.
Suze L. replied:
Arjan Brandsema, of Hollander builders. He is reasonable, does great work and is also an engineer. Does all jobs big and small. He's also on Angie's List.
Patrick F. replied:
Blue Sky Remodeling is the best in the county. Owner was Galen Miller's lead guy when Galen was building high end homes in Lancaster. He would never pay to be on Angie's list because he is so good he never lacks work.

Thanks for your quick replies everyone...I'll post a picture of the current arrangement in a little bit to add a visual. I was thinking I wanted to buy a door like this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Masonite-32-in-x-80-in-6-Panel-Painted-Smooth-Fiberglass-Prehung-Front-Door-with-Brickmold-20163/202896198 My current door is measured as 31 5/8" x 78 5/8" x 1 3/4" - but I was hoping a new door like that could fit with the old frame being replaced. (I don't really know how any of this works, though).
