Don't waste your time with Dr. Smith's office DBA Family Medicine of Michigan. I was looking for a new primary care physician and completed their 8-page "application". When I originally called, the receptionist asked what kind of insurance I had, and she said they were accepting new patients. Then, I got their letter rejecting my "application" and denying me care through their office. I have PHP insurance through my employer, where I've worked for 37 years, and excellent credit, so I just don't get it. They've not responded to my letter from July 12 th, asking for an explanation either. If you'd like a great dentist though, look no further than Dr. Sullivan!

Dr. Joel Greenberg at MSU Pediatrics is amazing! Their office is right off Canal Rd. Dr. Scott Stevenson DDS here in GL off Saginaw Hwy is awesome, too. All my boys go to both.

Well, I am a current patient with Family Medicine of Michigan and I had PHP when I joined with no problems at all. It is a great facility and good nurse practitioners. I recommend them.

HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ruster over by the meijers on lake lansing....http://www.drruster.com/ and Dr. Klansek wwww.lakelansingfamilypractice.com/ho is also on lake lansing...not too far if you hop on highway.....i used to go to dr smiths office, and my family has tried the dentists in the local area------not the greatest experiences....i used to work in medical related field, so i know really good care---found these two from sisters referral, and blown away. Dr. Ruster called to check on my daughter personally after her root canal, and Dr. Klansek also personally called me to discuss test results from some blood work. I feel the smith/izzo practice has become more of a mediocre production line with some strange "application" issues.....and i will not name names, but one dentist here in area kept botching my husbands crown(you should not have to pay for 3 crowns within 3 years on the same tooth--is a front tooth, and 2 ce it came loose and he almost choked in his sleep. I also dont usually make public personal recommendations, but after i referred ffew people to these guys they were shocked and surprised at the quality of care from both.

I have always liked Dr Mora at Capital Area Peds. I wish she could have been my doctor too I was surprised that there are not any peds in GL (unless I am unaware)

We have seen Dr Mora before too, all of the doctors at that practice are all great. I reconnect them to everyone, it is well worth the drive across town!

We have used MSU Peds Westside for 18 years! Love Love them !! They are close to Grand Ledge too !! Just a block from Horrocks!

Both of my kids had Dr. Mora and they are in their 30's. She's great.

I absolutly LOVE my husbands Doctor Dr. Shannon Mobley! He was my doctor too until I lost my insurance. I was never comfortable w/ male dr's before but he is awesome. Plus he does chiropractic services if you need it. And he is the only dr so you see him everytime. He is on Lake lansing in the court one building. 517-853-0781. Highly recommend

I live in Ithaca Michigan and my daughter and I go to Kozmic family practice. It is on mt. Hope just off of Pennsylvania. I'm 35-40 minutes away but it is so worth it. We have Dr. Mator I think they are all great. Nobody has given me a hard time about not vaccinating they trust you to make informed decisions about you and your child's health. When my daughter wasn't quite a year I had to take her in for a cough that had been going on for quite some time. The natural stuff had helped but it was starting to get worse....I was worried they would give me a hard time about waiting so long....not at all. Dr. Mator told me what a good job I was doing as a mom and to keep doing what I was doing but she needed a little help with an antibiotic. The intern we saw was even wonderful and asked about my choice of not vaccinating. When I was explaining my choice. She was like " oh I have no problem with it. I believe even if parents do choose to vaccinate they should at least delay because the CDC protocol is way too much and too soon. The practice is also very supportive of home birth.
