http://nmfamilymedicine.org is the Residency program affiliated with Memorial Medical Center. I like Dr. Danielle Fitzsimmons-Patrick, an attending physician there. She is actually one of the professors of medicine. If your son or you need to go to the ER, you will be seen by a Family Medicine Doctor who has access to your records rather than the ER doctor. If you or your son are admitted, you will be treated by Family Medicine doctors rather than the hospitalists who see everyone else. La Clinica is also a reasonable option. They offer dental, medical and psychiatric care. They also offer weekend and evening appointments. I see Dr. Kathleen Hales. She is an amazing family practice physician. Yvonne Mouchette is helping me get diabetes under control. She's a nurse practitioner, with TLC on Missouri. I went to endocrinologists here and in Alamogordo and this is the most control I've been in.

Yes, what Maria Rodmar said. You should go see an endocrinologist, a specialist. Seeing a primary care type doc will waste your time and $$ on medicine. Dr Joukhadar is best.

Dr Gilbert is really really expensive!! For the kids I would recommend Children's Wellness, they are all Christians. For y'all I love Dr Zahir but he's probably hard to get into. His associate Dr Hernandez is really good, nice and thorough and informative, tells you what, why, how and all that !

We've started seeing Dr Scott Baymiller at kidskare on telshor...he is great and they take adults too. For medical we all go to Rio Grande Medical Group...they have pretty much everything there. Dr Gross for adults and Dr Indacochea for the kids...those have been my faves so far.
