Here is one of my fav places to go. Great hiking, and Lower Calf Creek Falls is beautiful. You can get to the bottom by a 3 mile hike, much of it through very fine sand which makes it a bit difficult, but very little elevation gain if any, or you can walk down the mid steep rocks and view from top. http://climb-utah.com/Escalante/calfcreek.htm

So it is going to be a big celebration.
