Date night recommendations? Looking for a really nice upscale restaurant (not a steakhouse) where my fiancée and I can go for our last anniversary before we get married...

Il paseano off of Oakland park Blvd. I’ve heard great things

Serefina is a great Italian spot with their patio on the intercoastal! We just celebrated our anniversary there in September and loved it. Great wine list!
Monkitail replied:
The recommendations here suck. Cafe Roval in miami is a really romantic spot, the food is decent but not great. Mandolin is another option. Your best bets are all gonna be in Miami. In Fort Lauderdale you can try Monkitail at the Diplomat, Blue moon is good. Its not super fancy but its really cute Escargot Bistro.

Shooters you’ll get some change from your $200, Mastros next door you probably won’t. Both on the water.

Unfortunately not Ft. Lauderdale, but the Rusty Pelican in Miami has amazing food and a truly amazing view of the city skyline from across the bay. Went for my brothers graduation and it was perfect for a special occasion https://www.therustypelican.com/

While it sounds touristy due to location, it's really nice with a great view, excellent food and drinks...try Lona in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Legit Mexican food, excellent service and tasty margaritas. I live here and this past Friday my girl and I found ourselves in that area by chance. We were hungry and looking for a nice meal and Lona hit the spot.

This restaurant is not upscale. But the location is awesome. Its called "the pirate republic". Make reservation to be seated next to the water. The weather has to be perfect tho

Louie bossies on las Olas personally great restaurant

These are in Miami, but I’d try Lagniappe or Winewood. Le Petite Maison is more pricy, but more upscale. Congratulations by the way!
