If they do like they have the past couple years or so, The Snack Bar likely will be closed from Christmas Day through New Years Eve and re-opening on New Years Day to serve the traditional New Years Meal of Hoppin' John, greens and cornbread. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoppin%27_John

DelSur Bakery on St. Simons. It's the same owner as the Argentinian restaurant there. The restaurant is good also.

Jekyll Island Campground is a dog friendly campground. Can't help with the restaurants/attractions since I don't own a dog.

Tortuga Jacks is pet friendly, camp grounds you are fine there to. Summer Waves is not pet friendly but everything else you should be fine. Hope that helps

The resort allows dogs at all the outdoor seating areas. Tortuga Jacks is awesome get the guacamole!! Pretty much I've found on the island if they have deck your furbaby is welcome!
