Looking for a new OB/GYN in the Davis/Weber area-**needs to be a high risk doctor**. Any suggestions? :D
Angela T. replied:
I know you have tons of recommendations. The Rocky Mountain Women's' Clinic has always been so great. I see Dr. Durbin and I have never been disappointed. Good luck. They have a great website. http://www.rmobgyn.com/
Tara W. replied:
I like Dr Housel at Circle of Life as well.
Krystalyn K. replied:
I go to Fred Seale at McKay and I love him:)
Sarah E. replied:
I go to Dr. Bierer, too, and I'm high risk. Sometimes you have a long wait, though.
Amanda H. replied:
Wes Davis at the circle of life is high risk and did both of my kids and he is amazing!! Love him and he is very knowledgable. He pretty much saved mine and cannons life!:) good luck in your search.
Terra C. replied:
Dr. Bierer was the first doctor I ever went to. I didn't go back:D I'm sure he is great though!
Brianna W. replied:
Julia Johanssen at COLWC, and I liked Dr Silver too as a specialist. Robin Houpe at COLWC is who delivered Aydrie and I thought her bedside was fabulous. Good luck!
Laura M. replied:
I personally had issues and several of my friends had issues with various doctors at the Circle of Life Center. Amber Bradshaw (not sure if you knew her in HS) is a OBGYN.
Natalie V. replied:
If it's just GYN I would also go see Amber Bradshaw. Too bad the Lessers retired:-(
Sarah H. replied:
Dr. Naisbit at circle of life is awesome. He stopped delivering babies shortly after I had Corbin a few years ago and just does the GYN part now so there prob isn't a long wait like there is with the other doctors there.
Ashleigh V. replied:
Rocky Seale
Jarom-Amber J. replied:
I see Dr Housel at COLWC and love him. I saw Jed Naisbitt with my first. Again, he doesn't deliver anymore. But he does do high risk and GYN still. He is amazing!! Dr Bierer is good too.
Kristin G. replied:
Dr. Bierer@COLWC.
Kathy J. replied:
I work at the Family Birth at ORMC, so I work with a lot of doctors. I would definitely see Dr. Bierer, especially if it was high risk.
Jenn Z. replied:
Is it something that would be better suited for a urogynecologist? I've heard good things about Amber Bradshaw. There's another whose name I can't remember, but it was Hispanic sounding.
Amanda D. replied:
I like Dr. Hartman
Holly A. replied:
Mike Draper from University hospital comes highly recommended from a friend who is high risk too. Definitely check him out!
Kamri G. replied:
Dr. Sumsion at Tanner Clinic. I'm not sure if he's considered high risk but he did a great job with my emergent ectopic a few years ago
Rebekah F. replied:
Julia Johansson@Circle of Life did an amazing emergency C-section on me! She can handle anything!
Ellen T. replied:
I've been recommended to Maria Hernandez, but she doesn't do OB just gynocology
Chelsey P. replied:
Dr. Boheen! You know how I feel about her... In short, she's fantastic! She's near Davis hospital.
Candice P. replied:
I second Kevin Sumsion at Tanner Clinic. Not sure if he's high risk, but he was amazing with my second trimester miscarriage & with my youngest boy's c-section.
Sandi C. replied:
Terra talk to Shalie Swartz her sister had 3 extremely high risk pregnancies and their doctor was amazing... Three amazing baby girls later!
Brianna W. replied:
One more thought... I would just not go to someone where you have to be treated at Davis Hospital... not a fan.
Terra C. replied:
Oh Muerte Jared, Jared Jared:D
Elizabeth C. replied:
...And I DEFINITELY agree with Brianna Page Weeks, I wouldn't go to Davis Hospital for anything major; (surgery, delivery). It's worth the drive to go to one of the better ones!
Brenda B. replied:
Amber Bradshaw is the BEST GYN EVER.
Wendy M. replied:
Dr Hartman. We love him and he's high risk.
Cris G. replied:
Alex Larson Ogden Clinic
Regina M. replied:
Dr. Farley tanner clinic is amazing . I was blessed with some amazing health issues in this area:) I saw wood before and had to have a another surgery to fix hers.
Ok Ladies, I would like your opinions. I am looking for an OBGYN in the Davis/ Weber area. So who is your favorite and why?
Jillisa B. replied:
I agree with Natalie, me and all my sisters see Dr. Johnson. You cant go wrong.
Jessica H. replied:
I loved Circle of Life when I was pregnant with Chase. I saw Wesley Davis and he was nice, but not too personable. He did a great job though. I have heard great things about Bierer though. I don't think they are on my insurance anymore and are too far away now, so I see Karen Boheen at the Antelope Women's Center by Davis Hospital. She's quiet, but very nice and helpful. I've liked her so far with this pregnancy.
Jessica H. replied:
For routine physicals and non-pregnancy visits, I love Dr. Rachel Hobbs at Tanner Clinic. She is so personable and kind. She is a family dr though, not an OBGYN. She just books up fast.
Brittney H. replied:
Circle of life!!!!! I saw Kathy Mark and absolutely loved her, but it seems like every doctor there people have loved! We switched insurance and I can't go there anymore frown emoticon so for this pregnancy I switched to Karen Boheen also and I've liked her so far! smile emoticon hard to switch doctors!
Lori M. replied:
Mark Bitner.... He saved my life!
Natalie P. replied:
Dr. Johnson at tanner clinic is amazing! Emily and I both go to him. He's so kind, and very on top of things. He watches all of his patients so closely, and with Garrett being a high risk pregnancy like he was, it was so great knowing that.
Natalie W. replied:
Circle of Life Women's Center- Dr. Bierer is my favorite, Dr. Naisbitt is a good one too.
Melissa K. replied:
It probably depends what your needs are but Dr. Boheen is dr. Hurst partner and she has delivered all three of my babies and I absolutely love and trust her 100%.
Brett S. replied:
I absolutely love my doctor.. Dr. Cardona At the Ogden Clinic in McKay Dee Hospital.. She is amazing!! 8013874400
