I have my CCW. Took my class last year with Guy Personnel Deffense. TBH ive never even carried my gun or shot ir because I need practice and have nobody to go to a range with. To me I need to become comfortable with it before carrying it everywhere.

Mt Juliet Police Dept teaches the class as well. Not a bad idea to learn from the police that enforce the laws.

Go see Maria Julianna at nrange. Very knowledgeable about the laws and guns in general. They also offer 1 on 1 training and they used to do females only class. Very glad I went there!

We are 20 minutes from Mt Juliet where I live. APPS is the first real full time school in Tennessee in 1994. We train security and citizens. Classes taught by federal and state certified expert witness in use of force, firearms and more. We also help you to pick the correct firearm to fit your needs. APPS will give a FREE Tennessee handgun permit class to any person in Tennessee who is a victim of assault, robbery, home invasion or other acts of violence against a person. There must have been a police report made and available also crime must have been within one year of request. We will also assist in the purchase of the correct type of handgun to fit the person. I took my armed license class with Buford Tune at A.P. P. S. Along with the class for Chemical Spray, Taser, Handcuffs, etc.. The classes are very informative. Another thing about going through A. P. P. S is if you follow his training and you end up in court he will stand up for you.. Do these other businesses do that? I haven't heard of any but Buford doing it..
