Hi everyone.... I'm looking for suggestions on the best shoes to wear for working 8+hours on ur feet for someone with flat feet, a bad knee, and a couple bulging discs...
Tania P. replied:
Dansko's (the 8+ hour clogs) ...not fancy/pretty but worked really well for me when I was a teacher and on my feet all day! https://www.dansko.com/
Derek T. replied:
The right shoes are a great start. We have comfortable, custom fit orthotic inserts made for our patients with foot problems...they love them and actually will correct your feet over time. As far as your bulging discs are concerned, we also have a very effective treatment for that. Let us know we can help--Dr. Totty...www.tottychiro.com

I have plantar fasciitis, and I highly recommend going to a store known to fit the proper shoes. Jensen Shoes has been a huge help since I walk a lot at work (nurse). Pricier, yet it's worth it. It doesn't take away all of the pain, but it's more tolerable than before. http://www.jensenshoes.com

Klogs, they give great support. Shoebuy.com has great deals on this brand.

Try Nordstrom.com
Meredith K. replied:
Nordstrom is the best! They will measure and are knowledgable about different shoes. They also have to pass a shoe fit certification to even help on the sales floor. Shoebuy.com also has a lot more of a variety in wide widths.
Deede M. replied:
Broadway Shoes has some wide sizes but I usually buy on line or from the shoe store next to Publix in Hermitage. I think it's a Good Foot store.

Lonnie Young shoes in green hills. My daughter has always had a wide shoe (until recently) and they have been wonderful for us.
Where is a good shoe store that they watch how you walk and recommend a running shoe for your particular way you walk?

I would also suggest rather than get shoes that are a crutch, fix your feet. Cumberland chiropractic and sports medicine is awesome, i have a flat foot on my left side it made it difficult to wear any shoes but hiking boots cause my feet and back would hurt. Now I can wear flips flops and walk all over with no issues ☺️
Sonya M. replied:
Athletes House- they were great! Very personal service!
Stacie T. replied:
Are you wanting the shoes for running? If so, go to like a Fleet feet or Athletes House. If it's for foot problems, go to Foot Solutions in Hermitage.
