I had been to dentists that I didn’t care for and thought this was a fairly inexpensive way to see if she was the dentist for me. Husband and I have been with her for a couple years

Hallmark used to be Dr Leon Smith...when I first arrived he was the best...in early years TV tried to get him to move to TV but thought he'd have had to charge his patients more (he even had his own lab there) ...then he had an organ transplant and couldnt practice anymore because of risk of infection so story was he retired to Ormond Beach and sold both practices, one to Dr Syska, who was also good who some said had a second practice too which someone says he now went back to and sold this practice to another dentist...but haven't been able to locate place or number for either. Place is empty, no forwarding info, number disconnected. Very strange for patients as we all need our records!

There's no dental coverage under Medicare. It only pays if you go into a hospital to have a procedure. You can try Dr. Larry Hendry in Fruitland Park. He takes Delta Dental, which is Tricare for Life. He's very nice. http://hendryfamilydentistry.com/Insurance.htm

Got my records there, going to see Dr Hendry who had retired but is now back. I learned Dr Syska is in Sorrento now ( an hour away?)

I found him in Sorrento, too far for me, learned his records went to Smile By Dentist, picked up my X-rays there and made appt with dentist recommended by some of you here, Dr Hendrey in Fruitland Park. Thank you all for your helpful comments!

We have been to a few in 2 year. Marion Dental Dr. Sorrentino is the most honest genuine dentist. Please say I referred you. You won’t be sorry. The others tried to say we needed implants, gum surgery, root loss etc. such a scam
