Mark Stapleton, Fuel prices would go up of course, but insurance rates would go down dramatically even for the folks delivering all of our goods..... but there is no sense arguing about something that is never going to happen anyways. You have to admit though, it is an interesting idea.....

Tony Burke Just sent you a message. my number is 352-751-5454, avalible anytime.

Jaime Schack Goldsmith. To keep the rates as low as possible, I think everyone would have the same coverage, and insurance companies could be assigned policy holders to make sure one company did not get stuck with too many "high risk" drivers. In order for it to work, the administrative costs would have to be kept to a minimum. Sticky fingers and all of that. lol

STAY AWAY from David Knowles Allstate in Leesburg. He is also a Leesburg City commissioner (Mayor) and he is part of the reason your utility rates are so high as he could NOT balance the budget so he just voted 3 times to raise the Utility rates. Would you trust an insurance saleman to keep your policy in check when he can even keep a citys budget in check?????
Steven H. replied:
I had State Farm for thirty years. I was hit by a uninsured motorist. I had to sue State farm to collect uninsured motorist. After they settled they promptly dumped me. State Farm loves their policy holders till they file a claim.

Denise C. replied:
Agreed! State Farm raised my rate every 6 months for no reason. I asked and they never could say why... I went to Geico, again, and it's over $20 less per month.

Hey, Norm Carner. I own a local insurance agency and have over 15 years in the insurance business. So i can tell you it is rare for your rates to ever go down. HOWEVER, i do have a few companies that have recently beat travelers prices, one being Mercury. Our agency offers over 35 diffrent insurance companies to choose from and we do the shopping for you so you don't have to. Plus as a bonus at renewal we shop you again, to make sure you have the lowest rate possible with out agency. You can call me any time, I am always open, after regular business hours and weekends.... which is more convenient for the average working person. 352-751-5454

I have compared notes with numerous long time friends, companies generally go up EVERY year, often at least every third year. We had State Farm for greater part of 30 years and they increased rates 30, 40, and 45% every consecutive. Changed, same thing happened twice, how do you thinkall agents get so wealthy!? Ask your friends, they will tell you the same thing. it is ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY honey!!!

Straight Medicare with a Medigap Plan offers the most flexibility. Most insurance companies offer Medigap plans. I Have had United Plan F for 30 years and have never paid for anything except meds —including back surgery in California with a renowned neurologist even tho I live in Florida.
Unfortunately, I am not yet eligible for Medicare. Can anyone recommend a Blue Cross agent I can sit down with to discuss coverage options for someone under 65? Love...
