Adopt a retired racing greyhound...there are 2 groups active in the area..Greyhound Options in Ware and Greyhound Rescue of New England in Mendon...you will never find a calmer sweeter and more laid back dog...Google the breed and the groups..you won't be disappointed ❤

My husband and I got our two pups from Dakin Humane Society in Springfield! Our only negative about the shelter is they are a kill shelter, but they are very pleasant to deal with. You can adopt from application to ride home in one day, and they let you put a hold on the dogs while you arrange a meeting with your other dog (that's what we had to do in our situation - the little brown one is a little house protective). Definitely recommend them if you don't mind the ride out there!

Both my pups were neutered there. I was very happy with the Sterling clinic. Everyone was super nice. I believe it's less expensive than vet's office. I would highly recommend!
