Good Mojo Dog Center, Owner Deniece Johnson is a trainer. She has quite a bit of experience with behavior issues in dogs and works out of Milford NH. I also like Jessica Janowski of Puppy, Please! Dog Training, LLC Jess does amazing work with positive reinforcement/clicker training. She has classes in the Bedford Area and makes house calls for private lessons as well.
Could anyone recommend a dog trainer that can read a small hyper (possibly anxious) dog really well? I’ve had Golden Retrievers and my almost 2 year old puppy is very...

I second Absolute K9 Solutions. One on one classes, Ian gained the instant respect of our pup and we were able to institute change on day one. He is very personable and has a real passion for what he does. Training is kept simple for both the dogs and the humans. I also liked that he has flexible hours and worked to ensure you get to the intended goal (even if it takes an extra class).

Absolute K9 in Fitchburg, Ian Martin! One on one training. Our goal was to be able to have complete voice control over our dog when not leashed, and he made that happen. Great guy!

I've worked in animal rescue for years..... most recently at the Worcester animal rescue league. I've worked with no less than 30 trainers over the years...... I 100% support Ian at Absolute K9. Kelley Bollen is another great dog behaviorist, but she's all the way out in Springfield. Go with Ian!!!
