Got no knowledge of any good ones near Mechelen, but I just took the train to Roeselare and went to [Tattoo Dagmar](http://www.tattoodagmar.be/)... I feel he really has a pretty unique style (if you give him the freedom) with some stunnning restults. Cleaner than your average hospital and just overal nice guy, great artist. It's something that'll stay on you for the rest of your life, so I really wouldn't narrow your choice down by location too much... Like really, what is going one hour by train to get a tattoo done?
