Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the area? We used to take the boys to ALH in Chailey, but they don't seem to exist any more!

We use Mr Lunn at North Street Dental Practice in Lewes. I rate him. He's private but agreed to take the children (NHS) - probably on account that I'd just spent a fortune having a botched root canal filling sorted.

Ditto Cindy Chin Sang. I have exactly same issue - it flares up almost every month before my period and my now dentist tells me the tooth is doomed and sooner or later has to come out ( sooner if I'm wise): (

Does anyone know a good and gentle NHS dentist around Brighton and Hove please? I am grateful for your valuable input, thanks and blessings x
Hilary C. replied:
The brighton dental clinic on dyke rd. There's a dentist with a Geordie accent who treats my son and is wonderful. I have a different dentist there who is also fine. I went there after a horrendous root canal at the Sussex uni dentist and they treated me with kindness and respect. If you can addis private, Adil Asani at 21 Dental is the most gentle kind and caring dentist I have ever met. I see him when I can afford to! Good luck x

I used to go to the one on north street, but I was private but might be worth seeing if they take NHS? I'm a very nervous patient at the dentist and they got me through braces and the removal of 4 teeth, they were very sympathetic. I have a feeling he was called Andrew something. http://www.nsdp.co.uk/
Lucy E. replied:
I tried North street first, I think their spaces go very quickly but definately worth a go as I have heard good things. The Albion Dentist is NHS and I got an appointment very quickly. You have to fill out a looooong form though and then call back after 2 weeks but everywhere else at the time was saying months. That was in April. I like them very much xx Good luck xx
Looking for a good dentist experienced in removing mercury fillings and the whole sidetreatment of it. Any recommendations in the Lewes/Brighton area? Thank you x

The only bio dentist I'd be willing to recommend is the Munro Hall Clinic in Bedford (not that I'm going there)...everywhere else seems like you'd be taking a chance (which I am with my local dentist).
