Congrats! This lady is a few miles away but did gorgeous locally grown flowers and bouquets for us a few years ago, and provided loads of flowers for DIY table displays. Very reasonably priced. http://www.thehomegrownflowercompany.co.uk
For one of my cake commissions I used edible flowers for the decorations. I did a fair bit of research and found out you have to be quite careful with edible flowers for a number of reasons that are too much to cover here. I found a nice little company http://www.firstleaf.co.uk/. Tell them I recommended them to you. They have some nice options. I just went for their basic £17 (including delivery) punnet and it was lovely. Smelt great! Taste so so. You can see the flowers they sent me on facebook.com/chocadyllic Evx

Yes, I'd say it is inside the plant when you get them off garden centre. Try Ashhurst Organic Farm locallyfoe edible flowers...or pick any of the above including nettle flowers, elderflowers, hawthorn blossoms, violets, rosemary, marjoram and thyme flowers, and honeysuckle right now! X
