Lindsay McLeod Espinoza is absolutely brilliant. My bloke couldn't get out of bed for a week. Lindsay treated him and he was a new man. She's also helping me with some really complex healing. Good luck, be well. xxx

I suggest you request an MRI scan not an X-ray as X-rays don't show up disc problems and they fill you with radiation which is why we osteopaths do not recommend them. I am practicing in lewes if you want treatment and I offer discounts to Zubies. Valence Road Osteopaths, Lewes. I have a good reputation in the town www.lin@lewesosteopath.co.uk.

Hi Sky- I read above that you've tried it in the past and it worked but you struggle to 'get your head around it' yet I would highly recommend Nik at Dragon Acupuncture in Brighton.. Nik is fantastic at working with others on so many levels and has supported me through various physical & emotional matters over the years... My partner went to see him after suffering from back problems for years and, after a few sessions with Nik, his back is barely ever an issue anymore. If you were to give him a call, he could talk to you more about how he may be able to support you... They also work in a multi bed environment to keeps costs low and therefore treatment more available. 07760 492136 Good luck and love to you xx

I HIGHLY recommend Jonathan Hutson at Dyke Road Natural Health Clinic in Brighton. Have seen him for years & I'm convinced he has healing hands - apart from being an excellent osteopath
Lin Bridgeford in Seaford - Osteopath/Kinaesiologist. Because apart from healing - which she does very well - she also gives you the exercises you need to do along the way.

I'd highly recommend Simon Murray he's got clinics in lewes and Brighton at dolphims house and dyke road, he isn't cheap but will continue to see you if he doesn't think it will help sometimes ive only needed one session with him and sometimes it's been two or three. Acupuncture also great (Keith Simpson at dolphin) but possibly a longer term option x

Patrick Holford covers how to come off antidepressants (and other addictive substances) in his book 'How to Quit Without Feeling Sh*t'. He goes into the supplements that support the neurotransmitters and brain chemistry to recover as quickly as possible and make the detox much easier. If you're interested in this approach, I have a copy you can borrow - I'm in Staplefield - or I might be able to drop it off on Thursday if you're in Brighton. X

Have a look at Simply Health cash plan. It's non-contract (only do for a long as u want) with 3 tiers of monthly payment and the best thing is U GET CASH BACK FOR LOTS OF ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS like acupuncture, homeopathy & osteopathy - just by emailing the receipts of payments. I've been using it for years & it made regular cranial osteopathy treatments for PTSD affordable. Ruth Wharton at Intrinsic in Lewes is my go-to for magic hands. Good luck. Hope all this advice isn't too overwhelming! Pm me if u wanna ask more questions. X

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22979992 - PubMed research doc on PTSD and CBD :) "Repeated CBD administration prevents the long-lasting anxiogenic effects observed after predator exposure probably by facilitating 5HT1A receptors neurotransmission. Our results suggest that CBD has beneficial potential for PTSD treatment and that 5HT1A receptors could be a therapeutic target in this disorder."

Hi Sheri, I am a GP with 16 years experience now transitioning out of the NHS - but as a functional medicine doctor and natural hormone specialist, rather than as a "GP". Testimonials for my NHS practice https://www.iwantgreatcare.org/doctors/dr-alison-grimston. I will be working Mondays (from 4th April) in Hove at http://thehoveclinic.co.uk/ and Wednesdays and Fridays at the Marion Gluck clinic http://www.mariongluckclinic.com/. My website is www.DrAlisonGrimston.com. However, if you truly want a private GP there are two GPs working as GPs from the hove clinic (link above) - so you could try them. Privately we can explore very different tests & themes to the NHS rationing, so good luck finding the answers you are searching for! Dr Alison Grimston, the Hormone Success Doctor!
