This is by far the best resource I've found anywhere online... and I've spent days and days looking. Everyone's experience with trauma is different. What works to help one person recover may not work for another. But the important thing to remember is that there are many different therapies and therapists that are working... so if one doesn't work for you, try another... and if that one stops working, try another...the good news is that for most people, complete RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE. Michele Rosenthal, herself a survivor, is one of the best teachers/educators on the topic of PTSD that I've found anywhere (and trust me, I've spent over 3 years looking). Please, please, please, if you or a loved one is suffering with PTSD, read through her website(s) and listen to her blog radio shows. It will change your life. In a good way.
