It is probably a start relay on your compressor. Go to www.appliancepartspros.com and type in your model number. They will sell you the part for less than $30 - $40 (plus shipping) plus they provide videos on how to repair yourself. If you have manual dexterity whatsoever...this is an easy fix.

Have used Mr Appliance on Southland Dr. Ph: 629-4111. Tech: Steve Hughes. They charge a $79 (believe that is correct) service call. If they fix the appliance then that amount is deducted. I used Steve when he worked for another company also.
