Can you elaborate on the housing information? I see that none of the rooms have their own bath and there is a "shared hall bathroom." Does that mean one communal...
Lauren M. replied:
Deb: I called Conference Services to inquire about the rooms. There are three halls that will be used: Bryan, Dawson, and Stith, in a residence complex. There are multiple sinks, toilets, and showers in each bathroom (she said), and there will be about 4 rooms per bathroom - depending on which building and which floor is being used. (see link below) The rooms/roommates will be assigned the week prior to the conference. Basic info, floor maps, and a little video tour: http://www.wm.edu/offices/residencelife/oncampus/residencehalls/upperlevel/bryan/index.php
Martha K. replied:
All dorm rooms have A/C. There is no designated hotel, though the conference committee can discuss this again. Previous campus - based conferences in the past 5 years have not had many attendees stay in the designated hotel - we asked - so that was the original decision. Note that almost all area hotels are not within walking distance of the campus and on-campus parking is extremely limited. You can contact William and Mary Conference Services with housing questions and registration issues at wmconf@wm.edu.
Looking for Airbnbs in Estes Park, Co since I'm apparently the only member of my family who wants to stay in the hotel from the Shining.
