You have Ramiro, Edmundo, or A Roda.

Ramiro in Lisbon. Relento in Oeiras

Sesimbra...good but probably not worth the drive for only a few days visiting... Ramiro is just touristy. It will be packed in a section of town which I like but a slight bit off tourist trail. Best suggestion to me would be one of the Markets (jan 31 st) during market day on Saturday. Do a lunch. Your fish will be some of the freshest. If you want something a tad more fancy take some of the other suggestions are fine. All in all most places will have very good seafood

Any recs on good cafes with good wifi? The Hotel Lisboa Plaza wifi is driving the faculty to tears.

Vertigo Cafe is great - good wifi and you can sit there and work for hours.

Alexander Chee, so excited you are in LISBON with some of my mentors from U TAMPA--Jeff Parker, Stefan Kiesbye, Erica Dawson, my friend Gregg Wilhelm and others. I just graduated with my MFA and am looking forward to heading to Lisbon with the group next year or the year after. Hope you are having a great experience and that your wifi is soon recovered.:)
