My husband and I went to Dr. Day on Scenic Highway. It had an upstairs in a white building and he was located on the second floor. I think they were a father and son. I still can smell the antiseptic smell when you walked in that building.

I Google his name...Dr. Victor Vignes, is still on East Airport.

Kenneth, he is listed as Dr. Victor Vignes with no Jr. to his name.

Also, there was a Dr. LeBlanc on Plank Road. I think the building is still there and is now a jewelry store...maybe Hollywood Jewelers.

@Kenneth Macaluso My father had a pediatric office next door to Dr Don Perrere in Laurel Lea at Staring and Highland. Could you have the two offices mixed up? My family saw Dr Donnie McDowell. His wife was his hygienist/office manager. Our families lived in adjoining neighborhoods, went to school with their children, and Daddy knew him growing up ... we loved Dr McDowell!

My childhood dentist was Dr. Bako <sp?> pronounced "bake-o".

Dr. Gayle Monget. His office was on North Blvd. The kindest most gentle man ever!

Dr. Kleinpeter, Susan Kleinpeter Dornier's father. She was instrumental in making our 40 th reunion happen, but sadly is no longer with us for the Lee High 50 th.

Remember them well.....Dr. Monget on N. Bvld. was my dentist. Such a sweet, GENTLE man. He could almost put me to sleep and I was TERRIFIED of dentists before I started going to him...sure do miss him....

I went to Dr. Kleinpeter too. Dr. Fox replaced my temporary crown from him with the one I have today.

Boatner Howell, I loved Dr. Kleinpeter, although he always aske questions when stuff was in my mouth. An his stomach rumbled a lot.... ;-)

My husbands fsmiky went to Dr. Vignes. Loved him. My mom oved Sonny Bonacarso. And Boatner...I think Id like dentist that gave me martinis....probably the only way Id go.

I've been to Dr. Monceret in new roads when my dentist was out one time. I liked him and he did a good job.
