Nu-Nu's Nursery (810-984-4300) is where my son has attended for over a year and it is amazing Barbara. He was previously in Little Lamb's and I would NOT recommend little lambs at all.

This should be considered a community support group. A place where people can come and talk about, celebrate, and enjoy the community. Port Huron is a wonderful place with wonderful people, but coming online and acting like you're better than someone and jumping on your soap box is getting old. Go preach to your kids or your grandkids. If you have something nice to say, share it. If not, just don't post. This group needs a serious moderator to hand pick all the bad apples off the tree. This young woman is looking for help so she can put her child into the right place so she can have outstanding care. In 2014 when you hear horror stories on the news of abuse and neglect people should be willing to help pass along some information instead of trying to preach and criticize. Facebook isn't the place for it. You look a hundred times worse than the people you're trying to bash. I hope you find what you're looking for, Barbra. I don't have any connections or numbers, but I have free time to help you do some research and try to identify the right place. You're welcome to send me a message and let me know where you're at in your search and I'll try to help how I can. Feel free to contact me. Best of luck in your search.

Barbara, go to the Michigan.org site and look for licensed and registered child care. Put in your zip code and look under each childcare facility that you might be interested in. There will be a resent site inspection on the facility. When you decide those that you want to interview, then set up an appointment and go. But also ask for present and past clients name and phone numbers for reference and then call them. Also after an interview drop in unannounced for a short visit. There are many that are good and there are many that I would not have them watch a stuff animal. It will also depend if you are looking for Preschool. Make sure that the teacher is certified or if they just advertise preschool like activities. If they are licensed or registered with the State of Michigan their license MUST be posted for all to see when you are in the home or facility. A registed child care business is for six children and a licensed is 12 in home. Other regulations are required as well. As for centerbased facilities there are other regulations as well.
