Just to be a bit controversial - I and my family have not had a great experience at Compton in Pencoed. Nice enough but we all saw the same dentist and had bad experiences - others there may be better but my sister's tooth died waiting for an appointment (her pain was not acute)! We changed to Pontyclun Dental Practice and can't praise them highly enough - fabulous with my young children and superb with appointments. Unfortunately having already had an unnecessary root canal on a healthy tooth at Pencoed I also needed three badly done fillings replaced after my concerns with them were dismissed at Compton:(

What about the school dentist at Newpark Clinic in Talbot Green? By Marks and Spencers? Have always looked after my kids (two now grown up) exceptionally well, and they are all filling-free with no problems at all.:)
