Just so you know you do NOT have to be licenced in Ontario to be a Home Inspector. And I can tell you that even if and when there will be alot that do not check everything. I know first hand since we had an inspector go into someones house and missed 2 things. 1 that could kill you and 2 that would not allow you home insurance. Mike and his team re-wired our main floor because Holmes Inspection Services weren't capable enough to see the knob and tube lines being run into our breaker box. Thankfully Mike from MS electric really worked with us as this was a nightmare of a situation. He had the ESA inspection done too. If you do contact him, tell him you heard about him from me as we were very satisfied.

I completely agree. I only went with them due to them being part of the Registered Home Inspectors of Ontario/Canada/USA groups. Complete bull from them. Thankfully the bill was light or else I would sue Mike Lipczynski in a heartbeat. Avoid Holmes Inspection services at all costs!!!
