He has very reasonable rates, cheaper than the often recommended Door Doctor, who we also had come out who quoted far higher and recommended replacement of things that didn't need replacing. My cable broke on a Saturday night leaving are door half open so we called capital garage door ottawa 613-804-5577. The guy was here within two hours. Replaced both cables and bearings for just over $200

Daniel Cockburn - ours was doing the same and we needed to buy a new door operator/opener. We found one on sale, had it delivered right to our door and Ace installed it, saved a bundle doing it that way. Most of the door companies charge a ton more for the EXACT same door openers that you can buy at Sears, Home Depot, etc.

I would not recommend Russ Sears, he charged my neighbour around $250 to replace 2 springs and he wasn't even there an hour.

We have always had good luck with Russ Sears. You could also try Stewart Overhead Door.
