Does anyone know of boxing or martial art classes in palace, penge or anerley for under 7s? Thanks in advance
Matthew P. replied:
Darren Hill runs a kids boxing class.
Ian P. replied:
MD Martial Arts on Anerley Rd. Sifu Mark Davis know his onions. All based on Wing Chun and I've seen him teach the kids. He really is something else. Or try Scorpions Muay Thai in Beckenham. Brothers Michael n' Steve Wakeling hold most world titles and I've seen Michael fight. Also does kids classes. https://youtu.be/iqZB8XAJ4 wkhttps://youtu.be/iqZB8XAJ4 w
Sam B. replied:
If Beckenham isn't too far, Lisa Pitman ( formerly Dennis) is fabulous with little ones (as well as teens and adults)- it's virtue taekwondo. It's really pitched to the children's ages, abilities and talents and teaches self-confidence . Lisa, herself is awesome - she holds a couple of world records for tile-breaking and you may have seen her on this years Britains got talent. We saw her try for her first record - It took three separate attempts - each time, she gave it her all and she really demonstrated that you only fail when you give up trying. http://www.virtuetaekwondo.co.uk

Not sure where you are or what level you're after, but our local library runs a wide range of art courses, including several acrylic courses. Might be worth checking with your local library?
