best guitar teacher in Crouch End is Paul Alcantara (p.alcantara@btinternet.com020 8341 0716). have to admit he's my partner but check with Rock Around the Clock; he teaches all styles. Classical to Grade 8, folk, fingerstyle, blues, jazz, rock etc. Has taught a boy who now plays with Chrissie Hynde. And we live in Crouch End in a very musical house!

Try looking up Kristian Borring: http://www.kristianborring.com/ He's a Danish jazz guitarist living in London. We studied together in Holland, he is a great player and a very nice guy. I am quite sure he is a good teacher as well!

Literally anywhere. Guitar teachers are everywhere just ask on facebook and you will get an overwhelming response. Make sure you specify that you are interested in jazz and soul, and for your own good ask for a teacher that has extensive knowledge in music theory.
