Karen Barr teaches piano and keyboard at most of the Jewish Schools . She is in Borehamwood and doesn't travel- but it's only 15-20 minutes away from EdgwareMill and I can tell you that she is the most fabulous teacher. She taught both mine at Rosh Pinah and she is still teaching my eldest at JFS, and she is really good. Definitely worth travelling for! You can email her on karen@musicalbarrs.com or her website is www.musicalbarrs.com

Both of these teach, but I haven't actually had lessons from either personally: Adrian Ashworth (Plumstead Common): I use him as a tuner, rather than a teacher, but I know he does teach: +44 20 8317 0378 Harley Moore (Deptford, but will travel): +447443518085

My mum is an amazing piano teacher with lots of students aged between 5-95(seriously the oldest are in their nineties). She's got brilliant testimonials too. She teaches classical, jazz & blues. She's in Plumstead a few times a week. Ring her on 07886796314.

A very close friend of mine is a piano teacher - based in Muswell Hill but she also travels. Her name is Joanna Reid and her phone number is 020 8444 1125. She is lovely. Is a professional pianist but after having children over 20 years ago, retired from performing to teach instead. She taught my kids of a few years and they adored her.
