I always had great service from Len Powell garage and my car needed lotsa help the past few years. I drove it for 13 years. The mechanics at LP were always mindful of the fact that i didn't want to put a lot of $$$ in car that was on it's way out.

Roy Robbins Service on Thompson Road, just west of Adelaide is my recommendation. Chris & his team are honest & fair. They fix only what needs doing, and communicate issues clearly.

Hi Michelle, I go to Gary Brooks and he is out Dundas East a little ways out but he is the best and very reasonable and honest!! His number is 519-268-8053 Paul
Jay D. replied:
Its great to hear so many have found good, honest mechanics!! They are hard to come by sometimes..... Brooksy is a good guy out Dundas east, raced with him for years. Another recommendation / option is Steve at H&M auto, also out Dundas east behind the Dairy Queen across from Crappy Tire.
Steve D. replied:
Len Powell Garage is located on Central Ave. right in near the tracks. They do great work, decent price, but the key is I found them to be no B.S. If something was wrong with the car, they told you, and never did work that might not be needed. They also let us bring three used vehicles for them to inspect before we bought them to get their stamp of approval on. Didn't charge us either because we regularly had our cars fixed there.
Good mechanic? Looking for a good mechanic. I believe i need a front wheel bearing done and would like it done hopefully tomorrow or the start of next week.
Does anyone...
If you're driving an Audi, BMW or VW, do go to Top Gear Auto in the Gore... Bogdan is just great!

Am a woman and with my older car I used to go to Byron tire and auto, they were always honest and upfront about everything. I highly recommend them for other woman as I never felt taken advantage of and I felt like they explained things throughly and helped weigh out risks and costs with all my repairs.
