Pam, Mark is correct re steel door & fire rating (to my knowledge). We've had a few fire inspections at out rental..thats what the city & insurance co's are most concerned with...ive never heard of this "wooden door" issue. However, i wouldn't doubt the fact as individual co's seem to come up with their own policies & regulations..!
