La Boheme is just off the main square, it's not a hotel, more a b&b type place, but it was perfect! Clean, central and good breakfast x

http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Hazen-Studio/Amsterdam/53799 - I've stayed at this place twice Clare! Not exactly in the centre but not too far out either. It's right near De 9 Straatjes (The 9 Streets) which is a super nice area in Amsterdam. Might be booked for when you're looking but figured I'd say anyway
