Dr. Krohn is our pediatrician and we like her a lot. In our 6+ years with her we have never had to wait more than a few hours to get in. Just called this morning for our youngest and they gave us an appt in 30 min. Her office is inside the LA Medical Center (505) 662-9620 She also took all of our off hours calls when we were new parents with our first. It was very helpful. I dont know how she manages it.

Vikki Saga at VikkiVet.com. She does house calls, so your animal doesn't have the stress of the ride or the waiting room prior to the stress of the exam room. I second Tyler Taylor. I've been using him for close to 20 years. When he is out of town I'll wait for him to come back no matter how urgent. He really understands his patients,
Lisa D. replied:
Been with High Mesa Dental for 13 years. Tried a children's dentist for our kids but ended up with them at High Mesa. Dr. Meyers for ortho work and MANNM for doctor. Research their doctors because they are all good but have different attributes to match up with individually.

Kalyn S. replied:

Laurie S. replied:
I just went to Dr. Cannon yesterday to get 3 fillings & he was great. This was the 1 st time in over ""15 years"" that I wasn't sedated for a dental procedure! Suzanne I. replied:
I second Dr. Mc Donald
Sherrie C. replied:
I don't know how much tolerance you have for pain but mine is very low when it comes to dentistry work. I dang near had panic attacks every-time I had to go in and have work done. I made this very clear to Dr. Cannon at High Mesa Dental. He was very reassuring, has a calm demeanor, and is extremely gentle, I highly recommend him.
Dr. Rachel Myers, is awesome we really like her a lot.
Debbie M. replied:
There is a medical group more appropriate for pro and con questions like this- https://www.facebook.com/groups/691139827572805/
Rachel P. replied:
I like Alpine Laser Dental myself. If you have a cavity they use the laser to deal with it so anesthetic is optional (doesn't hurt like a drill). Dr Brookover is a dentist geek, and he will talk on and on about stuff, but I always find it interesting. I've never had the hygienists pressure me to get things done.
Suzanne C. replied:
Dr. McDonald!
Joyce A. replied:
Dr John McDonald ... they are really fast.

Linda C. replied:
Jon McDonald. Great dentist. Amazing with kids too.
Margaret G. replied:
There was a whole series of posts on this same subject not too long ago, and many people recommended Dr. Reid Cannon. I'm surprised no one mentioned him again. He wasn't practicing in 1998. He graduated from high school with my middle son.
Heidi N. replied:
Dr. McDonald is great - my whole family likes him.
Jess C. replied:
Dr. Matthews across from Metzgers, next to the Verizon store. He's amazing.
Maggie M. replied:
We love Dr. McDonald...the flatscreens mounted on the ceiling make for a nice distraction from otherwise less-than-exciting dental work:)
We've had great success with Dr. Posada. He has a light touch and great skills.
Petra S. replied:
Jon McDonald is amazing. I used to get massive anxiety even contemplating going to the dentist since I've had such bad experiences..not anymore. He is super gentle and always tells you what he is about to do and most importantly, he gives you enough novocaine (and time for it to work!) so you're actually numb before he starts working on your teeth! Even my kids go to him!
I am looking for recommendations for a good dentist in LA who can do dental flipper. And do you know how much do flipper teeth cost and how much insurance will cover for...
