I took my 4 year old to Dr Gartz and my son had a bkast and was bragging about how he got to go to the dentist and was showing his teeth off and everything. Dr Gartz did an amazing job and so did his assistant.

Dr. McDonald is great but if you want a pediatric go with Dr. Prishkilnik she is wonderful with kids and very through. My 5 year old just had dental surgery with her in Friday.

Dr. McDonald. He was so amazing with both of my boys (and one was not easy to get in the chair - he had great, but respectful, tricks and it was a really successful visit!) He has also been great for my husband and I - and I was a real dentophobe before him. Cannot recommend him, and his entire staff, enough.

I second Dr. McDonald. My older son is parinoid about his mouth. Dr. M's staff were patient and very kind. He has a very nice manner with kids too.

I second Dr. McDonald. My girls see his hygienists now, but the first time they only saw him. He won't push them and is great. He's also great with questions, like when I questioned him about why a 5 yo needed x-rays if she was just going to lose those teeth anyway he explained that molars are important and have to last awhile and hers were too close together to get a good look at and then said I should think about it and let them know *next* visit if they were still so close rather than trying to immediately talk me into something.

Dr Rachael Myers is a fantastic dentist . I don't think she is specifically a pediatric dentist but she is so gentle and so sweet that I can see that she would be Fabulous with kids. She also knows her work.

We LOVE Dr. Tom (662-9200) for our pediatrician, not sure if he accepts medicaid, but give them a call. no dentist suggentions

Dr. Tom is wonderful and yes his office accepts Medicaid. The new Los Alamos Childrens Dentistry also accepts Medicaid, we have not gone to them yet but I have heard wonderful reviews about their office.

Dr. Tom for pediatrician, he and his Nurse Nadine are the BEST! Dr. Bill Nichols for dentist, only dentist we've been too where my son hasn't screamed bloody murder to have his teeth checked and cleaned

So Malaya does great with cleanings and we go here in WR at Heisch, gartz and cannon. But anything more then a cleaning they send us to Dr Hendricks (sp?) in SF at dentistry for kids! He is absolutely fabulous with kids!

Just for grins (located at Dr McDonald's old office) has a great staff. My 3 year old didn't have a great experience, but I think they would be great for a little bit older kids. Also the new children's dentist located in the new smiths area is Dr Nikkles (from the children's clinic) his father is the dentist there. We will be checking him out.
