have the mobile lady come.......she shaves my 80 pound lab mix and cuts all 3 dogs nails...for $70..Michelle is her name...and her number is 219-775-1078

I've been taking my dog to the same groomer for years. She's reasonable, and she's absolutely wonderful. Her name is Sue Kekelik, and although she's in Hebron, it's well worth the drive. She does it out of her home, and her rates are less than half the price of other places that I've taken my dog. I don't know if she's taking new client's, but you can find out. Her number is 996-2390.

Choose where you chose to go and follow your conscience. I have heard on here a local groomer Velvet Bow is great and this is a way to support your community and to support a business that supports its community. When we were collecting money to save Miss Pat's she donated to our raffle.
Heather H. replied:
There MANY wonderful groomers in our area to choose from. I personally know the owner of Velvet Bow & she & her husband have rescued many animals. A few years ago they gave an injured stray cat that I rescued from a dog attack a loving forever home. Velvet Bow also works with rescues to pretty up their adoptable pets to help increase their chances of finding good homes. Good people at Velvet Bow. Yes, shop local first. Shop Lowell & support our local businesses.

I quit going to Velvet Bow and now go to The Hungry Hound in St John... I had the hardest time having the Bow get back to me, I would call for appointments and have to leave a message and they would NEVER call me back...

I've taken my Labs to the Velvet Bow, they did a fantastic job, no cages and great staff. However, it was 25.00 to trim 2 Lab's nails. I've used Groomingdales at Alsip for baths and many a nail trim as well. They charge me $12.00 for 2 Labs nail trim including grinding the nails down. We've also been to Hungry Hound, they also did a great job with my 16 year old Lab's bath/nail trim. It all depends on what you want to spend...
I'm looking for a mobile dog groomer to come to my house. I've seen one driving through town before but don't remember the name. Any suggestions on a good one that...

Four Paws Only on Gerard St in Dracut. Our last lab adored going there. Our current one (who has separation anxiety) absolutely loves the staff. Prices are reasonable, and everyone is great to work with.

Snips love A Pets Pleasure ... Been to fancy tails and she did OK but she kept cutting him like a poodle (he is a Bichon) and she had a real hard time plucking his ears. Went to Four Paws and had a very bad experience with trying to force over charge m e for things he did not need. He went to Grooming Emporium for years but Tonya sold it and the new girl was not as good. Now he goes to A Pets Pleasure and Kris does a great job on him and I am not forced to leave him there all day... drop off and done in about 4 hours ... he has never had a bad cut ... Just my experience with my 10 year old dog who needs grooming every 3 weeks (every 3 weeks for his ears and ever 6 weeks for his haircut) ...
In need of a mobile dog groomer please I am in Lowell. And if you have ever used the one that you will recommend
Nicole H. replied:
I use Velvet Bow in town. She will pick up your dog and drop it off back at home. But not sure if that is what you are looking for or someone to do the grooming at your house.
