We've used Waglands and Dog Bach. They're both very good and friendly and Pepper has come home happy. For longer stays we use Waglands and shorter stays Dog Bach as it's nice and close.

The Dog Bach is great and handy in Makara, but may well be booked out. Our dog loves going to MacGlam Kennels in Raumati South too, the owner Janet is worth trying if you can't find anything closer.

There is one in Upper Hutt which is fantastic! Our cat spent nearly 3 months there! Paradise Cattery, Ex vet nurse Marion is fantastic. She took great care of Milo while we were moving.
