Friends, I need help.
My car is effectively dead. Really dead. The engine has locked up completely and it's not turning over at all. A mechanic effectively wrote it off...

Carmax has worked well for us. They have stores all over the country, but I don't know any are close to where you are. Here's a link to the website, where you can search for available used cars by make/model/year, etc., plus they list the stores. http://www.carmax.com/ CarMax - Browse used cars and new cars online www.carmax.com Search new and used cars, research models, and compare cars, all online at carmax.com.

RIP Voluptuomobile. So sorry to hear this Ben, but pleased it lasted as long as it did! It was a good car for you for 10 years! Wow!
Katie D. replied:
When we were looking a couple years ago, the best option turned out to be leasing. When the lease is up, it will be less to finance than the equivalent certified pre-owned. You might consider it. We worked with Steve at Gene Messer. (At least, I think that's what his name was.)
Ben R. replied:
Thanks for all of your suggestions, everybody! We'll be talking to the folks at Gene Messer either tomorrow or Sunday about a certified used vehicle.
