I've been to Wildlife Camp a few times. It's outside the park, isn't 5 star luxury, but a 'roofed' tent with shower right on the banks of the Luangwa is hard to beat. it has a certain 'authenticity' about it. Chichele Lodge. Within the lodge itself, Impalas and monkeys roam around at night. Within 50 metres of the gate, we saw a hyena. Within 100m, we saw a group of hyenas feasting on a Zebra that got stuck in wet mud. We saw a a baby hippo and a porcupine, yes a porcupine, not more than 5 minutes away. Then of course, all the other beasts on the game drives. Plus our guide, Nicholas if I remember correctly, was a wealth of knowledge. He'll even tell you about the flora if it's of interest to you. A word of advice. If you plan to take pics using your phone, put it on airplane mode. The last thing you want while you are on your drive is to receive a beep beep tone. Yes, there is network there. It can ruin your experience.
