You can order lunch from anywhere in town and call MacSpeedys to deliver it. 0955 773339 or 0966 773339. They deliver lunch, documents and will run any errands for you, which not only saves time but money and cuts down on stress in the Lusaka traffic.

I'm coming from the Copperbelt, what are some recommendations for decent restaurants in Lusaka?
Kelly G. replied:
EastPark Mall has an excellent John dory's (the mall has a FB page) and a very good eastern cuisine based restaurant called Bombay Lounge, they also do steaks etc. Great vegetarian dishes too.
Emma W. replied:
Ah thank you Chris. Lilayi is à good option for à day visit. Starting at 11:30 when thé baby éléphants are fed, then head down to the lodge for an a la carte lunch. It's wise to book ahead of time as we are on occasion booked out. Call us on 0971 002 010 Or email reservations@Lilayi.com Our website has our current menu. Www.lilayi.com
Dawn C. replied:
Alisha Volkman, Lusaka is full of decent restaurants. Depends on what you want. The food at Mint Lounge at Acacia Park across from Arcades is always good. They are getting a bit run down with worn out furnishings and grungy menus though. Evenings there's a ridiculous noise from a club upstairs. Go there for lunch. Right next door the Thai restaurant is good. If you want both food and atmosphere at a higher price, Latitude is pretty impressive. Lilayi is also impressive. I find the 70 s decor at Marlin to over power the taste of their food. Cheap Indian in a real dive at Mahak on Great East Rd. at intersection of Makishi.Vegi Thali platter, all you can eat for K35. The last time I was at Manda Hill in the evening I was grateful I wasn't trying to eat in any of the restaurants upstairs with their pounding music. It's become more of a club. I had sushi last week at John Dory's at East Park. I was happy. Price was reasonable.

Alisha Volkman, Lusaka is full of decent restaurants as Dawn Bridget said.. there is also Latitude 15 just at Cross road leopand hill road kabulonga area... you can book a table by calling +260211268802
Monica E. replied:
Dil Restaurant near Hilltop Hospital for Indian food but not decor; Dong Fang in Dundudza Chisidza Road for Chinese; Eviva in Rhodespark for the best red snapper anwyhere and sushi fans are happy there, other seafood tends to be a tad overcooked; ignore the decor and Marlin's the best for tender steak.

Casa Portico on Ngumbo Road, Sunningdale (near golf course) for lunch
