Looking for a plumber in Baltimore area. Prefer someone who shows up approximately when they say (or even at all). I know that's a tall order but COME ON!! Seriously,...

Have you ever tried servicemaster.com? That's how I found a great appliance repair guide
Can any Baltimore folks recommend a plumber? I'm guessing it'll be a substantial job.

Bryan Plumbing and Heating. They've done various jobs for us--including fixing other plumbers mistakes. Call Robin Bryan Culver at (410) 882-4333. I won't claim they're the cheapest folks in town, but I don't question their quality.

We use Saffer Plumbing. They were best plumber in baltimore for one of the local publications. We've been using them for years. They replaced our boiler.
Anyone have a good plumber that they trust in the Lutherville/Baltimore area? We have a clog in our sink. Thanks!

In order: 1. manually turn the disposal--there is a 1" or 7/8" nut at the bottom designed to move the blades. Maybe this will "kick up" what can't go down. Try that first. 2. Plunger--best idea. 3. Liquid Plumber/Drano. they "say" not to use it on a sink with a disposal, but you'll be OK. Use hot water. This is a last resort because I am not sure the disposal holes will allow enough to go down if the sink is clogged to begin with. the plunger is the best idea.
