I just had a roof done last month for a small 2/1 investment property \- about 850sf. As small as it is, it had a kinda complicated roof design with lots of peaks, my quotes varied a lot. I saw a recommendation for **Yowell's** in this thread. They were nice, we really liked them, and had a good quote \(6500ish\) but a long lead time \( a couple of months\). I went with **Matera** Roofing they were the cheapest \(4300ish\) with only a 3 week lead time. When they put the roof on I was shocked they used architectural shingles. I thought I was settling for 3 tab because of how cheap they were but got a great looking roof with the cheapest bid in the least amount of time! Also, stay away from **Pinnacle** roofing/services. They quoted me over 10k for a small house then tried some high pressure sales tactics, when I told them no thanks he called the owner on speaker phone. The owner started yelling at me IN MY HOUSE. I had to kick the guy out. It was a terrible experience.

I'm with a property management company and Cardinal Roofing is one of our go to companies.We have been using them for years.

I used Yowell's Roofing for a repair back in March and was very happy with them. We had a few roofers come out and got some really sketchy quotes, but Yowell's was the most solid and realistic. Avoid Westfall in Temple Terrace.

I don't have a specific recommendation but I wanted to say to try to find a company that's been in business longer than 5 years. Roofing companies in Florida are fly\-by\-night and a dime a dozen. A considerable amount of them don't last 5 years and their "25 year warranty" is worthless when they're not around.

I used Tim Hutchinson Roofing a few years ago to replace mine. I coached his son in youth football several years ago. They do great work and his pricing allowed me to upgrade my shingle rating.
