Yep Tytherleigh Arms is wonderful. Went there last Saturday to celebrate my parents 56 wedding anniversary.....great food, lovely atmosphere, although we were very loud a fantastic night had by all.

We're 20 mins away in Honiton & didn't know about The Dolphin so thanks for that. How long are you coming for Rebecca Eardley and how far will you travel for good food? For example there are a couple of great places in Exeter - 40 min drive from Beer.

The Twisted Oak is in Exeter and it's sister pub the Union Pub or something like that, there were some day time places on Happy Cow I think but we were there in the evenings:-) There is a newly opened fully vegan health food shop in Exeter too, run by Evolve:-)
